    Brian, thank you for posting this. I am a little shocked at this news, she has always been one of my favorite singer/song writers and her vocals are unmatched by anyone that I can think of in the folk genre.

    Wow, I’m sorry to hear about her passing, but I’m very happy to learn about her. My first thought was “Nanci who?”. But after checking out the video, I realize that it would be hard not to be familiar with her work. I love her songs and her voice. She certainly had a gift. Thank you for posting @Brian_P .

    Her record Other voices, other rooms and Lucinda’s Car wheels on a gravel road were the two that rekindled my love for Americana and for music. God bless her.

    @Brian_P I didn’t realize Nancy Griffith has passed away! She was only 68 years old. I remember hearing her music on a local radio station here in Chicago in the mid-1990s. Thanks for sharing!
