  • Session Count Inaccurate since update

Posted by KayMesser on March 1, 2024 at 9:28 pm

Hi all, I finally logged in this week after missing a few days. I went to mark in the comments of my lesson my playing session # as Tony asks us to do often. I looked at my session count and it is way higher than the last time I logged in.

On March 12th I was at Session 294 and I commented that count on the Ménage à Trois lesson.

I’ve completed 8 lessons since March 12th and I should be at 302 sessions. I was keeping track so that I could celebrate my 300th session.

Today I logged in and I noticed my sessions jumped to “382 Playing Sessions.” I know Tony did an update this week. Did that have an error in it where it bumped my playing sessions up 80 in count? Or, did I have 80 lost sessions (unlikely as I’m only a year and a half in and I don’t play that often).

Did anyone else see an error? I use my session count as a way to keep track of progress. I want to make sure to have an accurate account.

I don’t have the answer, but my session count has never been accurate. I been using the app Andante to keep track of my actual time practicing and my session count.

UPDATE: I heard back from TAC Support via the chat. With the last update Session Counts were corrected if inaccurate. In my case the new, higher, count is the accurate one. Cheers! Yay me practicing more than I thought 🙂
