Just got “moose”,my epiphone inspired by Gibson hummingbird back from the shop for an initial set up and adjustment. What a difference. Even though guitars are set up at the factory, in this case Singapore, they can change quite a bit due to many things. My guitar was a week old but I could just barely play an f chord on it as well as feeling the action was too high. Well sure enough the technician here in Daytona ended up doing a basic neck adjustment as well as checking it out and changing strings. It is like heaven now.Soooooooo, don’t hesitate on a basic reset. Not only will it be a small victory for you but also a community support for those who wondering if they or not

@Mrfredsporty So happy for you and Moose! A good set-up makes all the difference, and it does feel like a completely different and new guitar when done correctly. Have fun with him, and post a video of you playing Moose sometime.

I was just having a conversation with an old time player yesterday about how +or- 1/64 matters in guitar setups. It is literally the difference between heaven and hell. Glad you got yours sorted out!
