great to get uncomfortable – and excited – about doing a new tuning. Last time I used an alternate tuning was at a DADGAD workshop about 8 years ago. It was too much to take in all at once, so I didn’t incorporate it. I’m looking forward to a week of small wins to get open D into a groove!

@Goldenhull Thats an exciting win, Alternate tunings can be really fun. There are so many of them. Enjoy, and Tony likes alternative tunings and he incorporates them into his lessons

Now you’re cooking! I LOVE trying different tunings, even if I have absolutely no road map in my head for what chords I’m playing. It is more about finding shapes that work in that tuning and letting it run in a direction you’d never have gone in standard. I hope you get lots out of the D week and well done for stepping off the cliff!
