    Was starting the daily challenge and after listening to the initial example and beginning the learning portion of the lesson I found myself noodling around and realized I was playing something close to what I’d just heard ( not exact of course ) before Tony got into the explanation of the lesson. Awesome.

    That’s great, @Bob_E! I also found these week’s challenges, with first the Am scale and then the backing track, great for making the connection between fret position and the note. I wish Tony would play the notes when explaining the finger positioning to reinforce that. Sometimes “middle finger on the 2nd fret of the D string” is a lot for my brain to process, but if he plays the note, I’ll know what he means.

      so true. I’m working on making that mental correlation with the actual note to the positions being referenced. Slow but steady.
