Small wins
I had a streak of eight days and yesterday although I played for probably an hour or so I have been getting hung up on this girl on YouTube that is teaching me “wish you were here”, never thought I would even come close to playing that song and here I am playing it. The more I play the more I want to play. So I started my streak again today with #1, I just have to remember to always open Tony’s site and play something from it, which I forgot to do yesterday.

Hey there @01jcheathgmail-com . @Bill_Brown ’s advice is key to keep your streak going. I would also add that a streak is only a number that indicates how consistent you are with your routine. The main thing is that you are consistent with your own commitment to your guitar journey and are having fun!

yes that is what I have been doing I take my second cup of coffee into my home office a play for at least an hour and then practice several times more each day, if only for ten minutes or so. I play piano but have always wanted to play guitar so here I am at 63 finally getting around to it.
