SWR Guest Producer…
Posted by Fletch on May 26, 2023 at 1:02 pmYep, the SWR has teamed up with our very own @brandman618 on our latest original tune… How cool is that…!
So we have @JulieI doing her amazeballs electrification, @stevep adding all his usual magical stuff, Brandon doing a great job with the production and me mumbling along…. What more could you possibly want…? 😉
We hope you enjoy it…

The SWR Project – Look Again
Written / Vocals : Fletch
Music : Fletch, Steve P & Julie B
Produced : Brandon K
(C) The SWR Project 2023
Inspired by Carl SaganLook Again –
It’s everyone you’ve ever seen
It’s everyone you’ve ever known
it’s everyone that’s ever dreamed
It’s everyone’s homeIt’s every hunter and forager
It’s every hero and coward
Every creator and destroyer
Every king empoweredIt’s every couple in love
It’s every mother and father
Every hopeful child
Every moral scholarIt’s every corrupt politician
It’s every star singer
Every supreme leader
Every saint and sinnerLook again, at this pale blue dot
That’s here, that’s us, that spot
It’s everyone, that has ever been
A mote of dust, suspended by a, sunbeam
On a tiny stage, in a cosmic show
It’s the only home, we’ve ever, knownIt’s the sum of all our joy
It’s the sum of all our suffering
Countless religions
Ideologies and doctrinesIt’s rivers of blood spilled
To conquer and inhabit
To master a fraction
Of a pixelated planetIt’s frequent misunderstanding
It’s to kill and dictate
The endless cruelty
How fervent their hateIt’s all our posturing
It’s delusions of being right
Our imagined self-importance
On a pale point of lightLook again, at this pale blue dot
That’s here, that’s us, that spot
It’s everything, that has ever been
A mote of dust, suspended by a, sunbeam
A tiny stage, in a cosmic show
The only home, we’ve ever, knownIt’s our planet alone
On a lonely speck
Enveloped in darkness
The vastness reflectsIt’s the folly of human conceits
It’s everything we observe
Illuminating our duty
To cherish and preserveLook again, at this pale blue dot
That’s here, that’s us, that spot -
“What more could you possibly want…?😉” : Uhhhhhhh, live? I dunno, maybe it is just me.
Nice using Doctrine in a song
-
Hang on… I posted a ‘Live’ one up last week Jeff and you completely ignored me…! 😂
-
No, not recorded live, I mean Live Live like the real dealio compadre.
Never ever would I ever ignore SWR. You know it is “something” if I am not getting to it. Just so you know I cover SWR in my bedtime prayers. That would include guest producers.
-
LMAO… 😂
OK ‘Live Live’… Right, I’m just doing my Lottery Ticket now, if my numbers come up I’ll quit work and be over pronto Jeff dragging Stevie and Jules with me…. 😂
-
right, good. There is a certain president’s son (not saying any names) that has all the lotto numbers in advance. You have to give him 50% of your winnings but the win is guaranteed.
I dunno, you asked what more I could ask for so standing by my answer. Live in person jam with SWR. Thats all I want, well that and my Chair and my dog Sh$%Head
-
Numbers drew a Blank… I’ll try again next week for you Jeff… 😉

@Fletch @JulieI @stevep @brandman618 There was no way to blow it with Brandon on board. It sounded very well mixed, and as usual great lyrics, instrumentals and vocals.
-
Thanks for the kind words – this was a fun project.
(btw @Fletch looks like you tagged the wrong person)
-
Now that’s what a well produced song sounds like! Thank you Brandon
