The Distant Kind- original song
This is “The Distant Kind”, an original song I’ve been working on lately.
It’s about growing apart over time, as we all just go on with our own lives.
It’s dedicated to my little sister, who we lost earlier this year.
This is the FIRST time recording this- there ae a couple of brain-lapses in there, it’s still a “work in progress” for sure.

It obviously needs more work– but I really enjoy working on songs– changing things, polishing things up, etc.

It needs some work, yeah.
Cool-thing for me was that— before I recorded it and listened-back to it— it was all just in my mind. I never really knew what it would sound like, right?
And I’m thinking you can only make improvements if you have a “starting point”– a recording of it– to work off of. So that little point alone is pretty-big for me…… hearing myself.
I received some pretty decent electronic-audio-stuff just the other day- (now all I have to do figure out how the hell to hook it all up together).
The “easy” instructions (yeah— easy for WHO?)- that come with the stuff are beyond me….. but I’ll get thru them……
Anyway– your opinion matters- and means a lot!
