VOM- VWA idea for 4/4/21
Tonight, at 6:00 Mountain, there will be a wonderful VOM. Tomorrow, at Noon Mountain there will be a wonderful VOM.
This idea was made real by the @real-Vic-G, and arose from the inability for us to get together to jam, and the inability to jam on the internet due to latency.
However, there have been some song leads done in this format, where we can and do, like we do in live jams, learn to play something in perfect safety (since no one else can hear us). I would like to explore that on the 4/4 VwA I am hosting on 4/4/21.
It is often said (and I sometimes believe it) that teaching is the best way to lock in the learning of that task.
Anyone who would be willing to lead/teach any song and can be there on the 4th at Noon (Zoom Link to Follow tomorrow or Monday), please let me know, and send me the chord sheet. And if you have other songs, besides that one, feel free to offer those, too, but I expect to pick one song per leader, to encourage others. Also if there is a song, but you have fear of leading (a common trait that no one in TAC should be concerned about), let me know that, too, and I will work on finding a ringer for you.
The plan, pick (I guess with only a week I pick) 4 or 5 and spend the 1st hour doing that. The second hour will be typical VOM format. And if there is no interest in this “Yet another T.J wild hair”, well, as Roseann Roseanna Dana says, “Never Mind.” We will just have fun in a great gathering for the VOM.
I will post in the old forums, too, to extend coverage. (Note, I am not posting the link, here, as I don’t want confusion with the VwA tomorrow at Noon., but I will tomorrow night or Monday.) Hoping to hear from you.

All reading this, and wondering about me, well, Yeah, I am pushing the “Teach us a Song” thing to the 18th of April. Easter landed on me with both feet (aren’t those things supposed to be lucky), so now time to get together. I have one volunteer, so far, and will hope that will work the 18th.
