Although I am definitely NOT a flat picker with the help of tac members Ive been working on that song which I got from the tac vault (thanks to a member whos name ive, unfortunately, forgotten). Ive done pretty good on the simple version. Now Im trying the advanced version. One thing I am going to do is take my time. Im going to go step by step and sometime in the future it will become my first real flat picking song. So, is “billy in the Low Ground” going to put me in the lowground? I think not! thanks to the fabulous tac members

Many years ago I did everything before breakfast. Actually that is good tune. Maybe in the future. I have to conquer this one first though

You are doing great just by going that extra mile and doing more than just the daily challenges. Remember you don’t have to follow each step exact. Sometimes my fingers can’t do something fast enough so I have to improvise. So…. if it sounds good? it is good.

Hi @Mrfredsporty . Congrats on your flatpicking win! 👏 Taking your time is just the ticket. For bluegrass flatpicking the tone and the quality of the notes are a priority. As others have pointed out in this thread there are another songs on the TAC song vault to learn and practice that range in difficulty fro easy to hard. Take your time and work through them and have fun! 😃
