At least it works for now on my metronome (slightly more complex for me also as it denotes the 1 as well , keeping the measures ordered). Grinding away a 69 bpm gleefully cracking the code.
Took me a while to figure out the count here. Starting on the “an 4 an” count worked intuitively to learn it but when I went to the metronome I kept yipping on this part (not counting the space correctly). I know there was a warning how this would make sense later but now I get how. I finally settled on counting over and over “1 – 2 – – an 4 an” in measure six followed by the eighth notes in measure seven. At least it works for now on my metronome (somewhat more complex for me too as it signifies the 1 as well , keeping the measures organized). Grinding away a 69 bpm happily cracking the code.
