have to take a break. smashed my left hand at work and having trouble fretting . hopefullt better next week

I know it wasn’t intentional, but I found myself playing part of Chop Sticks… lol. I found yesterday’s vibrato technique easier than today’s, but will keep working at it. It’s nice to have options.

Hello from Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland in the UK. Started in January and sticking with the program. In almost every lesson here Tony says to go and listen to the artist he’s emulating and then gives you the technique, so you can recognise it and know the mechanics and, with practice, be able to go and play it yourself.
These lessons are a starting point to becoming a player and it is called a program rather than a song by song site.
For me, it’s coming back every day to do a bit and then re-playing or expanding on what I’ve been taught when I have more time. Breakdown 10,000 hours into 10 minutes a day and you’ll be an expert in 164 years.
Wise up, make the best of what you are being taught and go find the joy in playing whether it’s just for you, for your family or with a bunch of like-minded amateurs. -

Chiming in from Indy. Indianapolis, Indiana that is. This vibrato stuff is pretty fun! That doesn’t mean I think I’m good at it, but it’s cool to try and make the guitar generate these different sounds.
