Weird transition. yet again, maybe it sounds right played faster.
I hope you don’t mind, but I had to make a change in the last walk (measure 6) for my sanity…E D# D D C. I’m sorry, I just can’t make myself play a C# there. (The double D is also easier). I do love learning these bass transitions!
Excellent practice for pick accuracy! Enjoyed practicing this week on technique and pick accuracy.
Took some time but was able to make the step-downs on each cord. Very sad sound.
Getting the hang of these bass walks, stating to have a lot of fun with this!
Got it
Got it and enjoy playing it.
Nice, really enjoy the bass walks
Small win: I am getting better at skipping strings in order to hit the right ones without looking…and while staying a little on track with timing.
these bass walks are so cool !
Nice one!
Great lesson. Slow but steady for me. Walk downs are cool.
cool
still having trouble making these chords, especially the C major. Haven’t cracked that code yet! But I did my best. I was following the play for way more than ten minutes. Making progress however slowly. Any tips?
Great fun excercise
It would be very helpful to have the chord symbols in the tablature.
C Am ‘Em C
I almost got that on the first try.
I agree that the chord symbols would be helpful.
It took me a while but I got it!
Great embellishment for the minor chord transitions!
going over these another time. I had some difficulties concentrating so I decided to go over all; these again .
this is awesome
Love the way this skips along to get down to the next chord. Sounds great
i like to learn to play these lessons in different keys so im taking at least a week on each lesson instead of a day. this is good stuff
Do you have tabs for the walk ups and walk downs?
Underneath the lower right corner of the video is a musical note kind of thing. This will take you to the tab for the lesson. I had the same question a week or two ago ha ha.
Look in the right hand corner below the video. You’ll see a small staff, click and you have the tabs.
This what a Johnny Cash song played backwards would sound like
Love the sound…. and makes so much sense! Love these little secrets!
“Day 3 – Stepping Down”. I kove it.
Great lesson. I don’t see using this on every chord transition, but it definitely adds spice. And I like understanding the “theory” behind it to apply it in other keys. Certainly useful when transitioning from a major chord to a minor chord. Thanks.
