  1. On measures 6-7, I found it easier to just barre all four strings (D, G, B, and high E) at the fifth fret with the index finger and hold it for those two measures. In fact, you could begin the barre on the last beat of measure 5. If you do that, then the chords ring out in a way similar to measures 2-3 in the open position.

    1. Additional note: Of course, you would only have to barre strings 1-3 (G, B, and high E), if you don’t play it as written in the tab, but rather as it is played in the video example. The way it’s played in the video replicates the melody from measures 2-3 more accurately.

      Drats!!! I had it written one way and was playing it another, good catch, both actually work the way I play it in the video is a touch easier 🙂
