Hi Tony:-) thank you for this awesome arrangement:-) Mister Carroll sounds like a totally different guitar in this tuning:-).
I really like this song, and the deep resonant sounds of open D. I had to jump back to practicing it this morning after doing the ‘Pledge Power’ morning exercise.
Wow! This was a hard one. I knew it was going to be a a challenge going into it but it sounded so beautiful I decided to go for it.
I worked my way through the A section and then hit the brick wall that is the B section (seems to be a pattern with these fiddle tunes for me).
But taking it one section at a time I now know the whole song and can play it with out the TAB.
Just like Vince I still have to practice this tune until it flows. The 16th note runs are still sticky for me but if you would have told me six months ago that I would be playing a song of this difficulty I wouldn’t have believed it.

Quite the challenge.I still have to practice this tune until it flows smoothly.Difinitly a song to be played slow.
