  1. Your lesson scope for the first 10 sessions of November are spot on for interest, challenge and variety. My rate of absorption is about 50% as I am half way through the lessons and all the way through November … I may have to repeat the month. I am recently retired and am new to the guitar. Great instruction with looping of each set, this allows me to learn on the fly. Print outs allow me to practice, and fingerpicking exercises allow me to relax and reflect. Great stuff.

    1. Kent,

Great work!!! Take as long as you need, you can review the material as much as you need!!! Thank you for sharing your experience and I am glad you are working through the material and seeing variety and challenge 🙂 Great job!!!

      Cheers,
      Tony

  2. Tony,

I’ve been playing around with some of the picking patterns Passenger uses in the intro to “Let Her Go” and I was just saying to one of my friends that I need to work more on picking patterns that have 1) alternating bass and 2) pinches in them. I would like to get better at playing melody notes while maintaining a steady bass rhythm with my thumb and I think this will help immensely.

    Thanks,
    Alan

    1. Alan,

Absolutely!!! I am glad this will help!!! There is some great fingerpicking stuff coming down the pipe as well 🙂 Make sure to stay tuned!!!

      Cheers,
      Tony
