  1. so useful. have encountered these before but doing a half hour practice has made it smooth and possibly usable therefore. I have come back to TAC after a long break and I am finding the material so much more accessible and directly applicable at my intermediate level. nice Tony!

  2. Transitions like this are the bread and butter of Bluegrass rhythm playing. If you enjoy these kind of chord transitions, listen to some bluegrass to hear and play a bunch more. Remember: Everyone loves bluegrass, some folks just don’t know it yet.

  3. Loving this. One of my main goals for this quarter was to get Bass Walks under my fingers. This really helped. I was able to do it in several keys. For some reason it finally seems to be clicking. I always had trouble with timing before as well as what notes to play. My fretboard knowledge is strong enough now that I am able to work it out.

  4. 1. Had to stick with this one but got it after a little effort. I do better with going to the “Learn” section and just listening and then going to the “play” section and learning to actually play it there.
    2. Not able to mark these “complete,” as I did in “30 Days to Play” section. Any tips?

  5. The base walks and transitions went fairly smoothly (I have done this challenge before). My goal is to actually incorporate these basewalks into various songs I’m working on. Surprising how just a small variation can lend so much interest in chord to chord transitions.

  6. Honestly, I’m so much better in 30 days than I thought I would be. I can’t play any complete songs so far, but technically I can see that songs will come. I’ve never learned any technique before and all the challenges seem super helpful for the future. Really cool process you’ve got here.
