Progress Over Perfection,
-
so useful. have encountered these before but doing a half hour practice has made it smooth and possibly usable therefore. I have come back to TAC after a long break and I am finding the material so much more accessible and directly applicable at my intermediate level. nice Tony!
-
I almost couldn’t believe that I finally got it! fun to play. great practice for chord progression.
-
difficult but handy in many songs
-
Finally getting the hang of this.
-
really good stuff
-
Good to review these fun lovin’ chords. Makes me happy!
-
Really enjoying the exercises so far!
-
Transitions like this are the bread and butter of Bluegrass rhythm playing. If you enjoy these kind of chord transitions, listen to some bluegrass to hear and play a bunch more. Remember: Everyone loves bluegrass, some folks just don’t know it yet.
-
cool, getting it.
-
What chords are you playing. I am playing a left handed guitar. Having trouble following
-
Loving this. One of my main goals for this quarter was to get Bass Walks under my fingers. This really helped. I was able to do it in several keys. For some reason it finally seems to be clicking. I always had trouble with timing before as well as what notes to play. My fretboard knowledge is strong enough now that I am able to work it out.
-
I also liked taking the 2 notes in reverse on my transitions, particularly between the C & G
-
1. Had to stick with this one but got it after a little effort. I do better with going to the “Learn” section and just listening and then going to the “play” section and learning to actually play it there.
2. Not able to mark these “complete,” as I did in “30 Days to Play” section. Any tips? -
Thats a good one for me.
-
Oh yes. So much better than the last time this one came around. Not totally fluent, but really encouraging.
-
The base walks and transitions went fairly smoothly (I have done this challenge before). My goal is to actually incorporate these basewalks into various songs I’m working on. Surprising how just a small variation can lend so much interest in chord to chord transitions.
-
Got it! Fun.
-
This was fun. I’m good at it, but if my fat fingers can get to play the C chord I think I’d be a lot happier
-
Honestly, I’m so much better in 30 days than I thought I would be. I can’t play any complete songs so far, but technically I can see that songs will come. I’ve never learned any technique before and all the challenges seem super helpful for the future. Really cool process you’ve got here.

Welcome Tim. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations, !
Challenge complete
