I heard what Tony said about using the middle finger twice in Measure 10, but this seems like a perfect situation to use the thumb on the 4th string, index on the 3rd, middle on the 2nd, and ring on the 1st string.
Okay, I tried this 10 months ago, and I simply was not ready to play it. My experience and skill level was not up to the task; however, I learned section 4 in one, which I absolutely love, in about 20 minutes up to speed. (It may be the single coolest two bars of music that I can play!)
This song is a lovely arrangement, Tony. TY!
Michael,
Awesome progress!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I am so happy to hear you like the arrangement and that you are getting it to speed!!!
Cheers,
Tony
And I meant arrangement, lol. Stupid auto correct! Thankfully there is no arraignment going on here…
Broken banjo rule section somehow threw me straight into playing some Temple of the Dog (Hunger Strike). This is the second time that I’ve learned two completely different and unrelated songs in a lesson, Tony 😉 ha! Seriously though – I’ve always loved this song – and this is a really beautiful arraignment you’ve created.
And… I’m also happy that I can play Hunger Strike now 😉 So, thanks!
Maggie,
A true two for one deal in this lesson 🙂 Glad you like the arrangement, and found another hidden gem in there. Great work!!!
Cheers,
Tony
