I would easily be able to recognize this song even without the lyrics. Nice work

It’s like that at first but eventually it’s second nature without even trying. It’s probably the most important chord you can learn. It’s in about 99% of the songs.

“ and on the eighth day God gave the people the key of G. For this day forward it shall be known as the people’s key” -Nostradomus

Did you do the one guitar for upstairs and another one for downstairs yet?

That will then open the door for a travel guitar

Takes time to build the finger strength. also try keeping the elbow in tighter to the body

I’m a sucker for bass walk up and walk downs. Probably what drew me to currently being into old timey country music

I’m trying to be an inspiration for others to show them that just because you know you shouldn’t do something shouldn’t stop you from doing it lol

For some reason playing the B7 chord really hurts my fingers like I have to squeeze extra tight to make it not buzz. And then the fact that I have huge fingers I have to be super precise with my positioning to not accidentally mute anything.

I recommend looking up songs you like and trying to play them. Practicing chords transition exercises is great but its not as fun or engaging as doing it in an actually song. To me its the most practical way to practice and after all playing songs is the end goal we are all after.

Tony’s lesson keep me on my toes showing me a variety of things that I didnt know I didnt know about which slowly adds to the ability to play those songs.

The thing I like about the lessons is that most of it is stuff I would normally never encounter in the sings I like to play. Playing “outside your box” with these random lessons definitely helps you to progress into a more versatile way even if you end up staying in your box.

It’s weird how the vocal mic makes everything sound like it’s intentionally lo-fi but at least it’s separated and a little bit clearer

I usually just use the phone to record which means i have to prioritize the camera view position so i recently bought an external mic that i can move closer which you see in the vid……that i forgot to plug in lol but i did remember to use it in the Stop The World song post which sounds much better. One mic on the guitar with combined with a headset mic for vocals so i can balance the sound better
