Being that I am not a pop fan, This song was new to me. I think you did a great job, and the song is good.
I think the over-production of modern POP, and the heavy use of computers instead of people is what turns me off. I am probably missing some really good compositions because of my bad attitudes toward it.

Anyway, Cool song and Nice JOB!

I have seen some issues with calendar functions on the site this past week. It may be related… You may have logged in Dec 31 1969 on those days 😁😂 date values were messed up.

I had a lot of trouble posting one with a photo (still have to do one with me in it…). Try posting just the text then making a reply with just the photo. That eventually worked for me

    I have adult add

There are two things that can work for you. The first is the super power that comes with ad(h)d which is hyper focus. If you can tap into that your house could burn down around you and you would just keep playing. This has its ups and downs obviously, it can lead to overdoing it…

The other thing is a safe stimulant 5-15 minutes before you practice… I have coffee, which does two things for me. It allows me to focus on practicing and helps me to have a settled mind to get to sleep afterwards.

Understanding how your brain chemistry works ( lack of dopamine and or dopamine receptors) will help to understand why coffee has an oposite effect on the adhd brain. If you don’t like coffee try black tea or a cola or something.

Doesn’t much matter that it was a 2 chord song. Learning it in a couple hours is impressive! Prince was a heck of a guitarist

Glad It finally worked. I don’t know when they will get around to looking at these issues, and this one might be hard for them to duplicate. Fingers crossed.

The whole Nazareth song was carried by the galloping base.

After Listening to the original, Robert Plant, GD, and Nazereth, I have to say I like Plant’s production of this song best.

    Thanks Michelle!

  • You have learned me something new.

I only ever knew this quote from “Third Eye” by Tool

    Thank you, sir!

You can use it in an arpegiated pick pattern, think alt base with your thumb followed by a forward and backward roll.

    Base(root), 3, 2, 1, 2, 3

    Rythm 1 & 2 & 3 4 &

Can be applied ina lot of songs. Fits well with “leaving on a jet plane” for instance.
