Good morning @Loraine. It’s a long journey; this guitar thing. I guess there’s no other way but one step at a time and to keep taking that step.

Thanks for sharing that. I have great memories of the phrase Dimming of the Day at the conclusion of a day at a Celtic Festival. You made me very happy listening to your playing and your voice.

Guitar performance was great but I have to mention the voice as well. You have the Merle vibe but you have some Elvis in that voice as well. @KevinZ that was really good.

Very well done @sebs . I just started working on Banks of Ohio and the tempo you played makes the melody pop out for me much better than the slow learning speed. I didn’t much like the song until I heard you play it. And yes thanks for helping keep the song vault alive.

Thanks @KevinZ, in the beginning of my journey I thought I would exclusively learn fingerpicking but thanks to the daily challenges I am learning to use the pick. I enjoy it more than I thought I would.

Thank you for your kind feedback. It is quite encouraging to hear. It helps me believe I’m making progress.

Thank you! I had fun with it. I still play it everyday so I don’t forget it. I’m working on Freight Train now. It is really stretching my fingers.

Thank you so much for listening. It was a fun one to learn for me. I’m looking forward to your posting. Good luck with it.

Hi @Loraine I am so happy to hear from you. You always give me such kind feedback. You are a such a wonderful member of TAC because you so regularly reply and provide feedback to so many. You are always one to listen to my posts and I really appreciate you. You also inspired me to do this. It was a post of yours that reminded me to do this. Thanks again for being a great part of TAC.

I think there was a look of shock first and then a big smile when I realized how I was playing. I said out loud as if Tony was there with me “Now I really feel like a guitar player, Tony”
