I was on the JMG site and I really think I’m going to like it. I’ll go on again today to look around. As for Tony’s site, it is still a benefit. He gives us little chunks and we can do what you want with them. We can use it as a challenge or use it as a little riff for a song. I think he wants us all to become our own guitar hero. Thanks for your input.

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement. I’m pretty sure I’ll be staying for another year. I know I would miss all the posts.

I call them done when I get 10 minutes in. This weeks challenges have been very intense so you do have a congratulations coming. 🙂

Well, it’s nice to hear that I’m not the only one that can’t figure out how to use the backing track correctly. I guess misery loves company. I feel a lot better now.

I was looking up the Larivee guitars after Tony’s Tuesday broadcast myself. Yours looks great, I’m sure you are happy with it. Just make sure it’s in a safe place it doesn’t get knocked over or something. Again congratulations on your new guitar.

Thank you, love the new guitar. I should have taken the Martin back after the first week but I didn’t want to admit defeat (like @Loraine said). It had a lot of sound to it, but I finally had to admit it was too big for me. I’m not a heavy handed player and I finger pick mostly. So it was the wrong guitar for me. Besides, if I want it louder I’ll buy an amp. 🙂

Thanks, it really is a nice guitar. It cost a little more than I wanted to pay but it was well worth it. For a smaller guitar it has a lot of sound to it. So easy to play. It’s so beautiful. Now, I need a Taylor T-Shirt. 🙂

It’s was a tough decision. I had my Martin for close to a year and it was a killer to play. I really hated to trade it and lose money on it, but I think I made the right choice. One day I’ll get the courage up to play something on a VOM.

I just don’t understand how it can possibly be so hard to strum. The pick will get caught on a string or something else bad happens. ha ha ha….. we will get this. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.

Yes, it is. I do look forward to the community posts. 🙂

WOW! You are a busy girl. The last few months i was just logging onto the TAC site and go to the forums and skip the daily challenges. As silly as some of those challenges are, they are good structure. I have learn so much about capo, metronomes, sound petals, etc from this site, besides playing the guitar from the forum. Also the “play for me” is a big help because it’s just everyday folks playing a song. I really have been putting a lot of thought into it and I think i’ll stay. The year cost isn’t all that much and I know I would miss it. I would love to learn Classical guitar, good for you.

I’m thinking along the same lines. I would never had gotten as far as I am right now without the program. So why stop it now. I really like reading the comments and listening to the ‘play for us’. thanks for your input.
