I haven’t heard this song in a long in time. Great job on it. I heard the clapping at the end and WOW. You even took that big step of playing in front of people! Congratulations!

Good post. That is what it is all about. Consistency in showing up and putting in the practice and you’ll be amazed at how far you will go with this journey.

@GerryB56 , I think the soloing took some concentration. I had to do that section a few times also. Good luck.

@stevieblues . Thanks, Try to get it yourself, but if it still isn’t working for you, ask for help. Someone will get back with you. Good luck.

Thanks @Kitman , I printed up the pdf guide from FBW. That did help a lot. I think my favorite page was page 4. It showed the weeks we would be working with and what was contained in those weeks. First week was Musical Alphabet and they listed what was done on day 1, day 2, day 3, etc. That way I could go back and find that video and watch it again. I think what is really going to help me now is the daily challenges and going through everything again and again. Thanks again.

Thanks, @the-old-coach . I am so glad to hear you followed along with me. I was really satisfied at the end when everything just fell together. Then I went onto the Soloing section of Fretboard Wizard, which I want to redo again. I might just redo the whole FBW again. As i sat on the couch and fiddled around with the guitar last night. It was easier to put a little break in between chord changes. They weren’t anything special but i was able to transition from one chord to another without too many hic ups. It’s awesome! Thanks again.

I am going to keep up on applying the fretboard wizard with the daily challenges. I can absolutely see where this is going to make me stronger in my guitar journey. Again thanks for taking the time to push me in the right direction.

@Marty69 OBS Studio was recommended to me. I have to sit down and try to figure it out. https://obsproject.com/ It’s free, you can install it on Windows, macOS, Linux. I think @Kitman uses it. or put up a post if anyone uses it that can give some insight.

MemberDecember 21, 2022 at 5:56 am in reply to: FRETBOARD WIZARD Minor Key of G Barre Chord Matrix – completed@Bill_Brown When I use the E & A barre chord shapes in the location of 1-4-5. The scale patterns E and A are the same. They just change location. Starting with the pattern, ‘1’ location would start on the Low E string. The ‘4’ location would drop toward the floor one string, then play the same pattern. For ‘5’ location, move down the fretboard 2 frets. This would hold true for any Key up and down the fretboard. They are easy to play, because they are right next to each other. Is this what you’re looking for? or am I off base?
