I got back to playing each month in a senior center. Got the Christmas songs from Ultimate Guitar, made a songbook, and did a lot better than last year! Happy New Year (chorus)!

I am having trouble getting 1.0 solid, though its pretty good after a long slog. Generally, this is really good practice that I will need to return to every week to master. I feel for you, Stickmaker, and my speed is rather slow no matter how much I try. It’s a win to be playing after a couple of hand surgeries!

My whole right pectoralis muscle (I believe) tightens up due to playing so much. I am happy to play until the pain gets to me. Found an interesting article:

So glad that you have joined. I have not been so psyched about playing again and again every day though I do get caught up in other responsibilities. This is the first Halloween I have been playing regularly, and it’s been a good October, and I do owe Tony and newbies like yourself (and me) for taking this on and getting so much out of it!
