Look into some of the Bob Dylan tunes like Knocking on Heaven’s Door for example – many of his tunes use simple, basic chords.

Now that is one cool TACiversary story. Thanks for sharing. I was just up at Martin about 2 weeks ago for the factory tour and Museum. Would have loved to have been there this day.

Way to go Lorraine – This is one of my favorites tunes to mess around with.

Real Nice job there @ElloranJ
This tune is one of my favorites – don’t think I have it quite down as well as you do, but working on it.

Wow! Excellent job there Troy. Nice, smooth, easy playing style. Sounded great.

Hey there @Mrfredsporty – keep at it – you will find doing TAC everyday will really help you doing whatever else it is that you are interested in pursuing guitarwise. I think all of us encounter some TAC stuff that is just not anything that we are interested in, but go through the exercises anyhow, because it will push you to be better overall.

@StringSlinger – Glad to see you bite the bullet and come back. Life always has a few twists and turns to throw you off. I went through some major life changing impacts this year that threw me way off and am also working my way back slowly – not at the discipline level I had before but getting there.
Jumping back on the wagon train is hard at first, but then becomes easier as time goes by. Just got to keep at it.

@Marty73, Agree that can be an issue and the Eagles especially are way over the top when it comes to that stuff. But, they are not going to care at all if you are just playing their songs sitting in the basement or living room or even in a jam session – only an issue if you post on line.

@Moose408 -Totally on board here with Jumpinjeff in regard to letting go of your expectations. I concluded a while ago, that Guitar is not a destination, it is rather a journey and will take you in many directions, but there is never going to be a final destination.
I have been a TACer for just over 4 years and I also supplement with another site that is very different and bit above my skill set. The combo of the 2 is really good. TAC provides the daily motivation to show up and try whatever it might be. You are without realizing it developing the underlying skills to play songs. I find that now when I attempt to learn a song, it goes way easier and quicker than it did 2 years ago

I open Zoom, but the opportunity to change settings per Tony and Maggie does not show up anywhere. Tried all kinds of tricks to find it. Can you expand on how you found it?
Thanks

Thanks much for the insights – I watched both videos – this is pretty cool stuff. I think I may have to bit the bullet and check it out. Could come in handy learning new stuff or when you see a song lesson on YT and they show the tab inserted into the video, but there is no real way to capture it.
Cool!
