Wow @Loraine ! Great job on the song having only learned it a few days back. Integrated bass picking with your rhythm is big step. Well done and congrats!

Hi @tagcondakotayahoo-com and welcome to TAC! One other thing to consider is how much time you are able to commit to your guitar routine. If you have enough time then then suggestions above are great. If not then you have to choose what you will do.

Depending on your comfort level with the guitar and time you have allocated you may want to focus in “30 Days to Play” and let the challenges go for a bit. There is also a course call “the 5 Day Guitar Routine Challenge” this will help you set up your guitar routine. Here is where you will set your goals for a 90 day period.

Part of my point here is you can jump into the daily challenges when you are ready. Have fun!

Hi @DiscostewLA thanks for watching the post and for your feedback. I really appreciate it.

I am only using the 2i2 as my audio interface. I purchased a bundle from Sweetwater that included the 2i2 and 2 MXR brand microphones plus a microphone stand and cables. With this setup I do use Apple’s MainStage App to layer in a bit of reverb.

    Hope that was helpful!

HI @davewilliams and thank you for watching the post and the kind words. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I am able to hear the backing track through the headphones. I use a Macbook Pro computer. There is an app called “Loopback” that allows you to create virtual devices that merge audio from any app as well as a live mic. In this case my virtual device combines the backing track audio from Chrome with my Scarlet 2i2 audio interface and my mics. In Loopback you can also individually control the volume level of every independent input. So I can dial down the backing track a bit and move my improv forward (as an example).

There is a free version of Loopback that allows you to use if for 20 minutes and then starts to throw noise across the signal.

I hope this was helpful! Again, thanks for watching the post and your feedback.
