Thanks for sharing me @Mrfredsporty I was watching a YT yesterday about conditioning yourself to relax more while playing and also found a treasure trove of bluegrass backing tracks at slow to fast speeds. The options on YouTube are endless! 😃

A really lovely piece @Moonhare . Your finger picking, rhythm and melody are very, very good. Well done! 👏👏👏. Your performance seemed soothing to your canine family member and I wish her a speedy and full recovery!

That is awesome @Ratiug ! It is always great to find a muse that infuses (rhyme by accident 😆) with energy and inspiration! 😀

It would seem the most critical thing for Martin is to maintain the foundation of the brand: unquestionable, impeccable quality that set the standard for the industry. Thanks for sharing @Mrfredsporty

Nice one @Gere C ! Love your choice of chords, rhythm, the lyrics and your performance. I can just picture you and your Malibu. Your song brought back memories of my first car as well. It was a 1971 Dodge Coronet and we did have some fun in that car! Thanks for sharing! 😃👍

That’s a great song and performance @Gere C . 😃 I like the hammer ons you played during the rhythm and the instrumental break. Did you write that one?

Before you go, there is a way to “have fun” with the lesson if you wanted to give it a try. It’s pretty simple, it’s not some big, profound solution. It is simply a “tangent’. Start with the lesson, but have an open mind, a child-like mind full of wonder. Then dig into the lesson. Can you go somewhere else with it? Can you create something new? Could it be the riff for a new song you write? Could it be the beginnings of a really cool chord progression that you’ve never heard? Use it to come up with an original song or instrumental. Record it so you can share it. So you can learn to repeat it. Nothing like playing your own music. That’s the best. Before you go, there is a way to “have fun” with the lesson if you wanted to give it a try. It’s pretty simple, it’s not some big, profound solution. It is simply a “tangent’. Thanks so much @Bill_Brown . I truly appreciate the feedback and input. 😀 I will check out Whiskey Before Breakfast. Right now I am working on Ol’ Joe Clark played with a capo in the 2nd fret using the G scale. My 90 day goals included learning to play a bluegrass song in the key of C (Billy) and in the key of G (Ol’ Joe – well it is really in the key of A however with a capo at the 2nd fret the G scale and chord shapes can be used). Having fun 😎!
