Nicely played @Marty73 .
That’s a classic Croce tune. He was one of my favourite singer song writers from the 70s. Tonja for posting!

it was a really fun track to solo with and to try and include elements
of the original melody. Have a great weekend -
Nicely done @DiscostewLA . Great work at getting the fingerpicking down and singing over it. Thanks for posting!

Thank you , @SherryH ! I wish I could find time to do it every week, but sometimes work get in the way…

Yes, @mwonderlyngmail-com ,
I pretty much focus on the course lessons and approach to solo with the scales Tony provides each week.

Thank you, @Marty73 !

Thank you, @Philb ! It was a short backtrack, so mostly sticking to the notes in the scale exercise seemed to work out.

Thanks for listening in. I played years ago from the age of about
12-18. Then only on and off once in a while. I joined TAC over 5 years
ago (about 7 years ago), with the intent to try to getting better at
improvising. It took maybe 2-3 years of TAC for me to start to be more
at ease with improvising. Only in the past few years have the lessons
included backtracks on known songs, so this makes it a fun challenge to
try to get elements of the known song melody into the playing.
