That’s a raw version. Lots of power and force. Today is the 60th anniversary of the enactment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Lots of force and power came out of the 60’s.
When I was a boy it was legal to have segregated establishments. Guess I’ve seen the rain.

This story was worth the length. It is a recall of one of those one-in-a-lifetime moments. And Happy Taciversary. I’ve been around a few myself, but I recall when I started TAC I thought of you as an early adapter/old timer way back then. I appreciate your true love of music and guitar geekiness. Congratulations and good health to you this next year.

I also start hearing things like runs, or pull offs, hammer-ons, bends in songs, double stops, drones that I did not realize where there but have become conscious of them. When I add them to my playing, suddenly it is richer and has more texture. It sneaks up on you.

Tough question. I think I’d double up on the days I could practice (20 minutes instead of 10) and then get five in a week. The Technique, Lick, Scale and Improve, Rhythm, and Chord Transition build on each other. It is different than 30 days to play.

I have only used YouTube. I hope you get your issue resolved. It seems like a bureaucratic snafu to me and although I respect YouTubes desire to adhere to copyright law, this seems misunderstood.

So the non radio live performance version!

You are on a prolific stretch. I like the procussive touches and stop timing.

Great song. I understand that Jimmy Webb wrote this song after being asked by Glen Campbell to follow up on By the Time I get to Phoenix. Very few songs have successful follow up songs. Jimmy supposedly got the inspiration while driving l long stretch through Oklahoma and seeing a lone lineman working at the top of a pole and imagined the lineman talking to his girlfriend.

Another nice job. That Taylor reflects so well I could see out your opposing window.

It must be exciting to be so good that The Eagles feel threatened by your performance. A high complement indeed.

I am pleasantly surprised how unique each instrument played (whether cheap gui , expensive guitar, resonator, ukulele or banjo) is. Each calls its own sound to convey and express the emotion of the song and the player. And calls the player to continue to play it. And in return rewards the player with some sense of fulfillment.
But, to your point, investing in an instrument is motivation. For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also.

Congrats on a year. And not just a year passage of time but consistent play. You’re doing well and your posts show it. But it reads like you have high expectations. There is nothing wrong with that but don’t let it be a place where fun goes to die. I do t think that is your case as you are patiently giving it another year. But again, congrats. I enjoy your posts.

Playing with kids is so fun. Kids get the joy in music and you seems to be having such fun with your creativity. Made me smile.

Well I still understood you. I love the Teeter character on Yellowstone. Her accent is so Western no one understands her the first time. Happy you are having an epiphany.
