Relaxing performance. I like Dylan’s songs but the older I get the songs seem to have more words! When in my 20’s I never noticed. I just felt the emotional impact of the phrase. Now I think, does this verse come next or that one? Well at least we still can take joy from the song.

Like it it said “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, except Bears. Bears will kill you.” You must certainly be stronger than you were 100 days ago as demonstrated by a single take attitude.

I relate to the “many takes” comment. I appreciate your performance. A few years ago Tony challenged the TAC community to learn and perform Beaumont Rag for a mash up video. Thus I relate to how well you are cross-picking and handling those sticky transitions in this piece. Good work.

Ahh yes. Fun song. I wondered if you were going to break into the French verse, but you are likely happy you laid down and let the feeling pass. Happy 99th.

I just finished watching Ken Burn’s Viet Nam Documentary and, of course, this song featured prominently in a few scenes. Enjoyed your performance. And your “Stage Presence”.

Happy TACaversery and though the increased work schedule is a given, your 10 minutes can still find its way into the base you’ve started in this past year. Keep having fun.

I too wish I’d stop eating ice

Nicely done Ted_h. I’m also inspired to head back over to the song vault.

Nice melodic movement with just the right amount of space between notes to makes the notes meaningful. Good work.

Can’t go wrong with Merle. Nice small win on the picking pattern. You earned you “Silver Wings”.

Your hard work shows through a solid performance. Thanks for posting in spite of the recording challenges.

I played off and on for a lot of years not knowing why, I just had a good memory. Like you, the Why and Fretboard Wizard and triads have opened up a world of exploration. And now that age is slowing my memory, I can use the fretboard knowledge to know where the music should be going and hear it rather than pulling it up from the stored brain archives.

Very heart warming. I can’t help but think the lyrics in my head while enjoying your guitar strings pulling on my heart strings. I don’t have daughters but I have six grand daughters and it touches me. Thanks for sharing and for your hard work.

Very nice. Made me want to grab a gumbo and some Abita and a prop up my feet. Good job.
