Thanks for the question and thanks for the responses. This sharing if the learning experience is one of the useful and helpful things I like about TAC.

You could try Skills Course reviews. I like the weekend’s openness. That’s where I stay focused on my quarterly goals. And I also review and try to refresh songs I want to keep on my back pocket list. One of my goals is to structure that review process. Your comment reminded me of that so thanks. Anyway, I like the flexibility and chance to stop and smell the roses on my guitar journey

Not sure about the lead domino reference, but you won’t find the whole sing and a staff or tab sheet. The pieces of the benchmark challenge is buried in the week’s challenge through the technique, lick, improv and scale, chord rhythm progression and chord transition. Those pieces will apply directly to Wagon Wheel but to get the lyrics you’ll have to go to Guitar Tabs app or elsewhere. The progression (which is G, D, Em, C or 1,5,6m,4) you can take and apply to lots of songs besides Wagon Wheel. So by learning the song through the 5 pieces you cannot not only put the benchmark song together but others. Also I’ve noticed the benchmark songs can be played on layered levels so that beginners to advanced players can have success and challenge. But you aren’t embarrassing yourself at all. It is a paradigm shift from traditional learning approaches and has worked great for me.

Congrats on the habit you’ve built and on the joy you are experiencing with your playing. The playing and consistency is its own reward but hear, hear and cheers to you.

Welcome back and great 1) that you are enjoying the experience and 2) that you have people to play and with whom to share music.

The “Egales” instrumental version was a good chord progression. Very captivating rhythm.

Got out the Resonator for this one? Interesting choice. Enjoyed that unsugar coated rendition. Thanks.

Good job. You sped up each time you played it. Have you learned three songs?

Yes, it is so on any device I use. But it is still functional for me.

Awk! I would have given up before 15 takes. Great persistence and good result. I like your slides and hammer ons and pull offs. And the song is a good one. You may be performing this one now in your sleep after all that recording effort.
