I used OBS to run the camera and then muted the OBS sound an laid the two sound tracks from Garage Band on top of each other and synced up the OBS for Video and the Garage Band for the sound. The OBS sound track had a lot of latency and didn’t sound right.
I’m learning.

Thank you. At the fretboard summit workshop two years ago I learned if you want to get comfortable with flat picking, start by learning 10 old fiddle tunes. After that your learning will really start to take off like a rocket.

This chord progression is a lot fun, isn’t it. Enjoyed seeing your progress. Thanks.

I am pleased to know there are others who love to share an Irish tune on St. Paddy’s Day. Our house is decorated in Green, White, and Orange and my wife has been feeding us Irish dishes since Friday. Thanks for sharing. Your usual good job.

I start the video, then hit the picture on a picture box at the lower right portion of the box, then press the tab box (little parallel lines) and I have the effect you are wanting.

Interesting. I had never noticed. My Daily challenge page says Welcome Albert your recent activity is:…. I don’t know the answer to your question. I’d just go on and do the challenge. If it doesn’t change after a bit of time you could ask support.

Was unfamiliar with the incident, the band, or the song so thanks for the introduction. Canadians have a rich folk tradition. I love it.

Second try to post. Watch out for the TACinator. She’ll be back. Thankful for your partial recovery.

Getting the wife to notice is a big win. Congratulations.

Good benchmark. Keep it up!

Don’t be discouraged. Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly at first.

Sharing new things and fretboard discoveries are what make the forum so useful to me so no apologies for sharing insights.

Makes me smile. Lots of fun and another great holiday song idea. Thanks for sharing. Been missing your posts so happy to enjoy another. I trust you are well.

Good use of mostly single string melody with supporting arpeggios. Fits very well with this song. If I can remember to do it I think I’ll add this to my holiday repertoire this fall.
Good work.

I get it completely. I’ve been working for some time now to set up a little recording area using a Mac Mini and Reaper and OBS software. I want to make the process easy but have not succeeded. When my college age multimedia major grandson was here Christmas we had it all working but I’m now stuck in the learning curve by myself. It is fun and great but it is far away from being easy. There is much to be said for an iPhone and a quiet place. Since I don’t readily have others to play with, I’d like to be able to record and play over myself. But in the meantime it reduces posting frequency. It is nice that there are so many facets of learning available in a guitar journey. By the way, nice electric too.
