It went through. I haven’t been having a problem. That doesn’t mean your user error. It is just feedback if that helps.

That’s the way to do it. Rain or Shine; Stay or Travel. Be safe.

Hotel California has inspired us to all pull out our old Eagles lyrics. Another song I like. Thanks for sharing.

I sometimes think Hallelujah when I get through that red light recording session. I’m not one for retakes. Keep it up.

Good small win. Keep building on it.

I don’t think you will (note for note) see the song. I think you will be very close though. I think that the reason has to do with intangible legal rights and copy rights. I think this is an educational and instructional website. TAC used to teach songs note for note but they were public domain songs like old fiddle tunes. But like Schultz says on Hogan’s Heroes, I KNOW nothing.

I use TAC for my primary training and minimal practice. It is every day 10 minutes minimum. After TAC, time allowing, I have songs associated with my quarterly TAC goals. Last quarter I worked on Travis picking with songs like Dust in the Wind or Landslide. This quarter I am working on Alice’s Restuarant. I pick those up from YouTube lessons with folks like Lauren Bateman or a host of others. I have reached the point of not feeling any pressure concerning my progress. Progress happens with consistency. Never underestimate the cumulative effect of small changes and enjoy.

Well @Big-Jim not sure which horse you’re riding but don’t I wouldn’t rein it in. It may know the way home better than you do. You will be frustrated, especially at first, if you try to master techniques, licks, scales, chords and chord transitions before moving on. I am about to celebrate my fifth Taciversary and I haven’t mastered anything yet. But I have had one great ride and good time playing and growing. So just give it your 10 minutes, do your best and don’t compare yourself with anyone else.

I would check with TAC Support. I have never tried. I just take the course again.

Go forth and conquer. Exciting.

Tony says comparison thinking is where fun goes to die. With whom or what are you comparing yourself? Tommy Emmanuel? You will likely never get there. But if you compare yourself with a week and a half ago you are already having fun. I’ve been on this journey and there is no destination so I enjoy each little step. And there are times when it just breaks through and you realize that you are way better.

Very slowly, yes. To truly play the song, muscle memory has to develop and only repetition can do that. Even Tommy Emmanuel has to awaken his muscle memory with repetition to come play songs.

Yes. Tabs are easy for me now. I’m working on staff and notes and am maybe halfway there. Over time I should conquer that too.
