As the Beatles sang, “I’ve got blisters on my fingers!”
I wouldn’t go that far. If you have a second classical guitar with nylon strings that’s what I use when I get sore. Otherwise let you body be your guide but I wouldn’t totally quit, just give it a little rest.
I appreciate your zeal.

Well bring it on. You have a fun guitar journey ahead of you. I’ve enjoyed it immensely.

Wow. You are on an improv freight train! Puckerstopper and Wonderful tonight. You might just be figuring this improv thing out. Go with it.

This song seems to have stuck a responsive chord in many of us. Your improv and bench marking looks like you can hardly stop yourself from playing for hours. Good job. You look like you are having fun.

Well, aren’t you just prolific these days. You are having a breakthrough period and I can tell you are loving it. Good job. Please keep having fun.

My number one guitar is a classical Ephipone I bought back in 1968. I love it. I like it’s sound, tone and classical strings and its wide neck. Why I like the sound and tone are obvious. I like the classical strings because they are easier on my old hands and joints as I’ve aged. I like the wide neck because it helps me stretch my fingers a little farther and keeps me more flexible. But if I’m playing it on a given day (I usually play the guitar closest to me at the time) I use a pick on with it when the challenge calls for a pick. I’m a better finger picker than picker picker, but I keep working with the pick to broaden my abilities. So yes, I’d use a pick.

Ha. Yes it must be only you, but I get it. There is great satisfaction in a fun and lengthy playing session. (My shoulder or thumb usually hurts before my fingers anymore. Also like you, I am getting much more comfortable with bending those notes. It is so fun.

You got the voice, style and energy just right for this song. Good job.

Nancy Sinatra would be proud. And you got all 12 of those strings tuned. Good job, especially liked the walk down.

I’ve always wished someone would make a movie out of this song. Good job.

My Mom passed a year ago for me and I appreciate your sentiment in this song. Nice epiphany for a walk. Good job.

From one retired guy to another, I liked both the song and the view. Warning though. Be prepared for people near you to think you are crazy for being so obsessed with all the fun you are having with your guitar journey. They’ll get over it.
