Now don’t dis yourself with “right”. That was a fine rendition. And with two sets of strings at once. Thanks for caffeinating and putting it out there.

Sorry about your “challenges” but sounds like it was fuel for another interesting SWR project. Thanks for sharing. Minor scales very appropriate.

I make an extra effort to work on the percussive rhythms because they seem to be hard for me. However they sounds so fun and once I get them down I feel rewarded. Good win.

Well, take 2 is getting smooth. And your confidence in the song is becoming evident. Good job @DiscostewLA

Ditto on the percussive elements and the minor key approach. Enjoyed your post. Thanks.

Not quite certain about the question but a B7 will go well in that progression and even an A7. And it loops after 12 measures.

Oh yes the second was to leave space between in a song between notes so that the notes that are there can have impact and the space can make room for the listener to put their anticipation, emotions, memories, and insights into the experience with you.

I would have two things. 1) Understand and learn how much fun and how important theory is to playing the guitar. I wasted a lot of space memorizing chords, chord progressions, etc. in my youth when a little theory would have made it all so easy. 2) And I forget the second…

A hearty congratulations to you. I intentionally broke my streak at 366 because I said that enough. And headed to France and Spain. But I’ve been steadfast and run up a few other long streaks. The habit is there and the counter helps but does not rule. That does not diminish your accomplishment. Plus all the fun you are having!

Or you can just pay and sing it as it feels. Unless I’m having to play with other instrumentation, that’s what I do. You question is a great technique exercise but reality is that the eastern world… it is exploding, violence flaring and bullets loading so sing that message out there. (Oops got to thinking about Ukraine not TAC. Sorry @speckpgh) what a great song…

Fun performance. You’re got the right attitude. Now you just need to let you beard get raggedy. @outdoorgator starts a new Family Tradition!

The Spirit of Family is really coming through. 10 years from now at some graduation or wedding this will come back out and they will be laughing with each other again from a more adult perspective. Great idea.
