Y’all all have such a treat to anticipate as the 30 days become 30 months. I’d spring for a lifetime membership and Fretboard Wizard (unsolicited non TAC affiliated personal advice) and settle in for lifestyle of growth, fun, and fulfillment.

Congratulations. 365 spins around the axis and 365 10 minutes (at a minimum) sessions with your axes.
Last year I intentionally broke my streak at 366 days just to prove to myself I was in charge and not the counter. But I still have very long stretches. Again congratulations and keep having consistent fun.

Guitars are platforms that have different functions just like kitchen utensils have different functions. There are various pots and pans in the kitchen with unique properties. You might be able to make one pot or pan do all the cooking but it isn’t optimal. Electric is certainly different than acoustic. And acoustics might be around in different tunings for convenience or one might have steel strings and another nylon. It’s a luxury like having more than one pan or pot to bake or boil or fry. Or at least that’s the way I heard it.

Wise move my fellow retiree. Particularly I would recommend adding some music theory (FBWizard as a start). Suddenly it all works together and social media’s passive hold is weakened.

Will you post a parting “play for us”?

Interesting exercise! I haven’t done so but now that you’ve mentioned it I may give it a whirl.

Thank you for the song and congratulations on jumping back into the music. Not fading away.

Nice to see you post again. The feel of that minor key comes clearly through. Thanks for sharing.

Back when we had Jam Clubs in TAC, we had a January gathering and all changed our strings together. It was instructive for those uncomfortable with the process and a fun evening. After changing strings we had a song circle with a re-tuning between each song. I miss Jam Clubs.
