Ha. I wish I would have started it when I was younger? Tony’s not that old and TAC wasn’t here for us. Take Acoustic Tuesday and divide by 52. Yes, we are blessed to live in such a time as this. And we can enjoy it now with our new FBW knowledge for as long as our “clay jars” hold out. Great win.

Nice cover. But I miss your pearly whites. You sound like you’re really enjoying the performance.

Nice cover. Step outside, let the stars real around you.

I don’t have a favorite. My luthier usually uses D’Aldorrio or Exlisur? But I have Santa Cruz Parabolic Strings on my kids Christmas list for the next string change.

My observation @the-old-coach would be how surprising it is that theory (FBW) adds so much more depth to the fun of playing. My younger self would have thought theory would be just something to push through, but once the small building blocks began to accumulate I had a much higher platform from which to to play. I would encourage all geeks after “30 days to play” to add a little theory to your plan.

I love Gordon Lightfoot. My wife got me tickets to a live performance in Austin some years back and the evening is a special memory for us. You look like you are having fun with playing not only Lightfoot but a new guitar with lots of strings to tune. Thanks for previewing that 12 string for us.

12 string exploration. Bold and brave. Finding comfort in a new zone!

I see you’ve posted several performances. Thanks for sharing them. I’ve committed to trying to post more this quarter as part of my Guitar Journal goals before our next Quarterly Party.

The switch to daylight time must have sparked your introspective fires. But I am along side you. My routine is just that… a routine and daily habit. My two nemesis have been Mississippi Timing (cousin to Spike Driver) and Funkified Blues. I am so glad I bought a lifetime membership after the first 90 days. That made me “lifetime committed” and I attest to the enrichment it has brought to my guitar playing and daily joy. You are right. Music is a gift from God. We’ve witnessed the metamorphosis of TAC and it various website facelifts and the Fretboard Wizard rework and the Quarterly Party and the deemphasis on the TAC Song site and the Song Challenges (Remember Irene Goodnight and Ragtime Blues?) and Jam Clubs and all those Acoustic Tuesday episodes and taken them in stride. The heart of Fun with Consistency survives and propels us onward. Guitar geeks unite. And congratulations on session 1100.

Now that’s what I’m talking about… great win. Congratulations.

Can’t wait for the little angels to arrive and the little devils to leave! Play a tune for them. They’ll think you wrote it.
