From what I can tell when I was learning it yesterday, it’s quite popular with church music groups for managing and writing out their chord sheets.

I just replaced the file with an .m4a file (same link) and Safari can now play it directly so it should work for you now. Go ahead and try again.
I’ve also verified that the .m4a file can play directly in Chrome and Firefox as well.

I just researched it and it appears to be a general problem with Safari (Mac/iPhone/iPad) playing mp3 files directly. You should be able to click on it, download it, and then play it from there.
