The joint of the neck and body can become lose and need refit. A guitar new from the factory could go through many changes in temperature, climate or even a packaging and shipping collision on its way to you. They are beautiful little creatures that deserve our respect and care.
Its a brutal world out there….lol

That being said Im no expert but its worked out great for me. One guitar sounded so bad I just knew I had made a big mistake. After the luthier in Port Townsend Wa. spent some time with her . Well its my favorite girl now. Better safe them sorry.
