With some added percussion @fletch
That is really clever and very well done. I noticed the website is slowly, but steadily becoming a fraction faster, so I consider this a tribute to the interwebs. Hope to see you take it for a spin every now and then. 🙂

one of his very, very best songs

I have one guitar that I play every day for an hour and I change strings every 2 weeks. After some experimenting I did notice something similar to your experience: one day they are fine and the next day they have deteriorated severely.
I cannot recommend string changes enough. It is not difficult to do (there are some great vids, including one by Tony) and very rewarding. If you are up for it: try some different brands and gauges. Won’t cost you much apart from some time and to me it always feels like New Guitar Day when I do it, both in sound and playability.

Very well spotted! I am not as much into scales as I should be, but it is in D and I figured out most of it by ear. But if I connect the dots, most of it is in pentatonic.

Hi @Niels good to see you here. I had a bit of a deeper look into it, because that right shoulder is a bit of an issue.
Furch OM is slightly smaller: not as wide at the lower bout (just under 15 inches) and not as deep. Together with the different scale length this is effecting my playing position. Had a look into it with a guitar teacher, had some tips, did the stretching as recommended by Tony. But the overall experience is just not pleasant. Afterwards. Don’t notice it when I am playing.
Which is a real bummer, coz it is such an awesome guitar in every way. Tone, playability, looks, and it records really nice. But comfort is a factor if you want to play every day.
So maybe I’ll go back to Furch. I’ll give it a few more days and decide.
