    Keep on keeping on Dean.

I found that playing a little each day helped strengthen my fingers immensely and then eventually things fall into place.

That is a wonderful thing to do – for the residents, the staff…and yourself. I’m sure they enjoy it as much as you do.

Agree Stickmaker, I too had to check my notes and positioning. Last week’s daily challenges kept me on my toes as I hadn’t done any finger picking at all or percussion work but it was all great fun.

Awesome Dirk! That was a great, achievable goal you set for yourself – I’m 100% sure you have many more and will hit them out of the ballpark too. Well done.

I’m in Australia and I have bought a few DAVA picks – they work best for me https://www.davapick.com/picks/grip_tip

If only computers had scratch and sniff 🙂 I can’t smell it: but that is a gorgeous looking instrument. I’m sure it will bring you many years of delight.

Welcome! What a fantastic way to start the new year.

Wow, I’ve never heard of Klos guitars but yours looks lovely – I’m off to google about them!

If you have the money: don’t wait, go out there and get it! Then make sure you play every day and rationalise the cost on a cost per play basis 🙂

If you ever need an enabler and a justifier: I’m here for it! 🙂

It is difficult to practice when there is a whole lot of a whole lot happening but great that you are back with your guitar in hand.

Run through the 30 days challenge to brush up and start to build your strength back up in your hands, then do the next 6 days course …and then dip in to whatever takes your fancy. Last week’s daily challenges have been really good as well.

    Best wishes

HA! I thought it was only me that was scared of the strings pinging and putting my eye out. I actually had a string break when changing it and it cut my hand – them things are dangerous! I have weekly in person lessons in an instrument shop and free string change is part of the the service they offer for students thank God.

I asked my teacher and he said really for me I’d only need to change strings once a year or so – more for him as he is a professional artist who performs regularly and records.

I worked through it about 20 mins ago and it let me check the lessons as complete. Turn your computer off and restart it to see if it is just a technical glitch on your end but if you still can’t check the lesson definitely contact the admin team.

Some nifty little way to practice in the Next Six Chords course, I enjoyed them and will come back to practise

I don’t think they are Australian made…but I went to a few instrument shops and the DAVA were the only ones that were different from the ‘standard’ picks
