The value of FW is the breadth and scope of the material presented in each lesson. I have a lot of experience in single-note (trumpet and other wind instruments), and FW has set me on an incredible journey for the guitar. I highly recommend the course to anyone learning guitar.

Welcome back. I can’t wait to read your posts and follow your journey.

Bless you for getting your helper involved. It will benefit her in ways we don’t understand.

@PopPop, you are on the same track as I was years ago. I learned that patience and trust in the system will work. Some days I just can’t get the material, and that is OK. I just structure my practice sessions, away from TAC, to concentrate on those skills that are not on my win/win chart. Remember a WIN is always yours if you try. Good luck, and keep in touch with your journey, there is an entire community that would love to hear your progress.

@lottyt, to my mind, to quote Marcus Aurelius (forgive the “man” focus), “A man never steps into the same river twice.” This quote means that experience and time modify everything, which I have found to be meaningful. There are types of guitar that I don’t enjoy as much as others, but having said that, knowing the other types or options will make you a better player in your church group. I applaud you for your service to your church. Enjoy the journey you choose.

I agree with every comment, and the thread is outstanding in its content and historical perspective. I have been here for quite a while and appreciate the changes made by Tony. When Tony closed down Acoustic Tuesday, it was to allow more time to teach guitar, which is his passion. I am grateful to Tony for his efforts to adjust and give us an excellent platform and content for learning guitar. I write all my comments on a word processor and copy them to TAC to maintain a journal and keep the original thoughts. This thread is excellent, and I applaud everyone for their time, effort, and thoughts.

@Shyman911, I save my music from TAC as a PDF and have a separate drive to maintain my music. This approach allows me a historical perspective as I keep copious notes on the individual music sheets themselves.
