@lollyt – not familiar with this song but your rendition (written by Toby Keith), both guitar and vocal, is lovely. I’m trying my best to not “let the old man in”.

Also, it helped me tremendously to complete the skill course on stretching exercises to increase flexibility and prevent discomfort as my body got use to playing guitar.

Hello @BrandonK – All your questions are good ones. I looked around the skill course section as well as the how to get started with It TAC, 30 days to play (okay to take more than a month, however). I did not specifically find those “basics” you are interested in. I did Google search “basics of playing a guitar” and got to websites with the information you want. In fairness to TAC I won’t specify a direct link but one site with “academy” in its name had a good summary for you. Play on my fellow TACer.
