Thanks @Philb truth is I go to Jams and feel out of place have to play a certain type of song. That everyone can follow so the song choices are limited. I have friends that have a band and sing with them when I am not dancing normaly 1 or 2 songs. I did community theatre musicals had the commitment of practice and shows because I had the lead roles in many plays. Being a guest singer with a band allows me a chance to dance with some singing when asked. I like it that way I sing and play for the old folks assisted living just to give back and get over performing close in front of people. Always get butterflies in the stomach when performing so I purposely expose myself to it. When I make a commitment I stick to it having lead roles in musicals means you have to be there every scene 6 to 8 weeks 12 to 14 shows always took vacation time off you get so tired and everyone depends on you. After having a taste of that I am fine with guest music ha ha. Just enjoying learning music and letting it make me feel good. Thanks for listening in and commenting so glad you did.

Thanks I remember being on a fishing trip and the whole campgrounds would echo Don Williams songs. My uncle would play them over and over with his 8 track tapes in the camper truck. I heard his songs in bars or radio but for some reason that camp memory sticks out. Never thought I would be playing singing them so glad I decided to do music. Thanks for listening in and commenting so glad you did my friend.

Where did you hear the stories about Ronnie M? Just curious

Gotta give respect he overcame blindness and had hit after hit. He could probably hear things that an average joe couldnt which made him picky. I can see how that would get under a persons skin. That key change was all flats and 7s and diminished was not sure I could pull it off had to look them up but they fit. Would never have included those chords in my songs. But after doing them now I see how they add to song dynamics. Thanks for listening in and commenting glad you did.

Thanks for listening in and commenting.
