This song really shows how you use the guitar to frame the song. You’ve really softened your sound, in a way that so works for you. Great job @KevinZ

Very nice. I didn’t hear anything odd, but I know there is a lube you can get and put where the strings meet the nut. Also, perhaps you need new strings…

Awesome! ✌🏼

Nice one, Stew! Another great vocal, very fitting with your voice! And quite an aerobic strumming workout! ✌🏼

Hey there. I picked up the guitar during covid and have been with TAC just over 3 years. I did the lessons regularly for about 2 years. I learned finger-picking here. I had 4 cords in high school, many decades ago, but had not played since. I started singing again with the guitar because that is what I always wanted to do. For me, there was no ‘click’ moment because from the first song I learned, I added vocals. I will say this, I am an organic strummer rather than an ocean strummer. So, instead of keeping a steady ‘inflexible’ rhythm, 1,2,3,4… the rhythm is built around the vocals in time with the song. This is the only way I can do it. Does that make sense? I have a lot of videos here. Check them out, and you may get a clearer understanding of what I mean.
