Thanks for listening, @Alfred . Sometimes musicians hear “pop music” and are automatically turned off. Yes, some songs are way overproduced not to mention overplayed. And then there are those standout groups and performers. I think Blessid Union of Souls is one of them. Highly recommend, if only for listening to the lyrics. Great messages.

Thank you @Mike56 ! I sent you a reply yesterday but for some reason it was deleted. Maybe because I mentioned U-T? Oh well, can’t figure out the new TAC rules. My general meaning was that I have heard many different interpretations of songs, some that transport songs from one genre to another. Like Reba covering a Beyonce song. Prince was a great songwriter and I’ll bet if you heard different arrangements you might actually enjoy them.
