Now you’ve got me wondering what it is you’ve been working on🤔

Well done! It is really quite intimidating at first but then you realise that you’re in the comfort of your own home, it makes no difference whether you make a mistake or not but it is only by pushing to play what you can’t yet play that you make progress. I just posted my 1st TACiversary video with a look back on what I was doing a year ago compared to now… just no comparison. Well done on taking this step. It will reap rewards as you continue along your guitar journey believe me. Darren [Moonhare] 🤟😎🎸

Ooh – can’t wait to hear that if you haven’t posted it yet. I think I will use this technique quite a lot once I have it locked down a bit better. I still stumble on it because it is a bit awkward, but I am totally in love with the dual guitar sound it creates. Worth persevering I think.

That’s awesome – thanks. I tried to play it at the Scones VOM last night. I knew it would be a challenge and I stalled a bit in the middle but managed to pick it up again and got to the end then without too many fluffs. Just need more practice hybrid picking as it does feel a bit awkward to start with but I love the way you can get a dual guitar lead sound with it. And yes I couldn’t resist the gunslingers in the percussive break in the middle!

Thanks. A different vibe for me but I really enjoyed trying to get those techniques I’m not great at, into it. String bends I still find tricky.

I still find it a little awkward but I’m starting to get there and it does mean you can do things that are not possible with the pick alone but then get back into some full on strumming. Worth the effort I think.

Good recommendation. I’ll give it a go!

Thanks. This was about the 8th take! It is still just outside my comfort zone but I love the effect so I’m going to persevere.

Thanks Daniel. Hoping to play it at Scones this evening if I can get along. I played the original RDR and have RDR2 but haven’t played it through yet, life got in the way, so think I’ll give it a go. Just such an immersive world.

Hi there. Very occasionally I have had this happen where it seems to have lost the post. I suspect something has happened in between hitting post and the thing appearing on the site. I once (and I stress only once) had it happen three times in a row. It may well have been my ropey internet connection that day. If you actually saw it come up in the post that does mean you were doing it right. Try it again. You may find the glitch has cleared.

So glad it helped. To be honest I have never tried a blues before so I was running a bit blind but I think TAC was rubbing off on me so I gave it my best shot.

Thanks. Just a bit of a laugh really but actually learnt something in the process.
