Great you have kept at it. Well done on year one. Learning the skills does mean you’ll start to be able to string things together and perhaps a 90 day goal of learning a whole song would be worth trying. The best of Luck @Himleyn

Well if TAC was the olympics you’d definitively be on the podium. Love your voice as much as your guitar playing.
-
Thanks @Lange22 – harmonics were one of the few things I do remember from playing in the past and the open tuning gives you the opportunity to hit them all and get a real chord.
-
Thanks @albert_d I think what I’m going to do is tune my old guitar to alternative and my new one to normal then I don’t have to retune every time I want to practice.

Hi. No I haven’t but I do have a bottleneck I’ve never actually learnt how to use. Time to catch up on the slide guitar 101 in TAC!
-
Thanks! Palm muting is one of the few things I can remember from the handful of gigs I did decades ago with electric guitar when I was in my first school band.
-
Haha – that’s brilliant. We all need to have fun with our guitars as well as the hard stuff!

I will definitely check him out, sounds amazing. I love the Northumbrian pipes – we have an amazing piper from NE England called Katherine Tickell who does some amazing stuff with those too. Her band, The Darkening – are superb.

Thanks a lot. It’s just good to know I couldn’t play that when I started TAC and now I’m almost there.
-
Hey that’s great! Hope you enjoyed it. Might try that myself.
-
Thank you. Nice to bring together a few techniques from the skill sessions.

Hey there. So we’ve identified the syndrome so I guess that makes us honorary guitar doctors! I think what you say about the file makes sense although the scissors?😬😱Think I’ll have to raid my wife’s supplies then. Thanks though. You don’t really have to deal with this for keyboards !

Thanks. I’m lucky I have my YouTube set up in the studio for recording.
