Really love this vibe. You make it look effortless.

To be honest anyone brave enough to play anything in a guitar shop gets two thumbs up from me! 👍👍 Just a lovely small win to hear about. Onwards and upwards @Cadgirl!

That is a really great idea about the trilling. (Auto correct wants me to type drilling – now that would be a different tip entirely!). I’m going to build that into my daily routine so thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a great routine and playing with other people is something every musician should try if they can. There is nothing like it! Thanks for sharing your inspiring routine.

Congrats on finishing that. You are right about YouTube. There’s a lot there but it’s the context that is often missing and the step by step building blocks that Tony uses to get you from one place to another are what makes it work so well.
-
Good grief, that is no fun at all. I wish you all the best for a successful recovery and keeping at least some routine going while you wait to get back to full strength.

Copyright strike! Obviously something to aspire to @alfred. Thanks for showing me how it can be done if I stick at it.
-
Wow! I love that song and that was a great version @Marisa. Hoping I can get to that level some day.
-
I love this. Definitely something to aspire to for someone like me who is only just off the starting blocks.

Yes – it’s hard to ignore the advice when it’s quite literally written on your plectrum!

Hey Mike that is so encouraging from someone who has been involved for a while and knows the downs as well as the ups. I am sure I’m going to have those times when it seems easier to just put the guitar down but I think everything you said there about the unique way TAC works is a perfect fit for me. I had no idea there were so many people out there in exactly the same boat. Dabblers of the world unite! Looking forward to the journey and also thanks for the sign up on YouTube.
Now back to the F (ing) Barre Chord practice. And it was all going so well up to that point…. 🙄

Thanks @GSJeff for the encouragement. Just great to hear about your biking too. You don’t know how lucky you are not living on a cramped little island but we do still have some great biking in the highlands. My wife rides too and when festivals start again that’s us on our bikes and who knows, perhaps a guitar on my back? 🤘😎🎸

Thanks a million Vic. Still trying to come to terms with returning to guitar in ‘later life’. How did that happen??
-
Thank you so much. I think this is the best step forward I’ve had in years and long may it continue.
-
Thankyou @Cherie for those kind words. My long term (and I mean long) will be to record every guitar properly. Until then it’s sore finger club!
